Infrared Heating differs from regular radiant heat, due to the fact that the clean wavelength of light is absorbed by solid objects, transferring heat directly to a person or object rather than heating the air. For this reason, infrared heat can be distributed evenly, and will not simply blow away in windy or drafty conditions.
