Outdoor Heating
We provide and install custom designed heating systems for all your outdoor needs. Whether it be gas or electric, infrared heating combined with custom controls with multiple options, your outdoor area will be enjoyable throughout the cold season.
During construction, we coordinate with your Builder/Contractor to give you an integrated and custom designed heating system. If you desire a heating system after construction, there are available options to retrofit and accommodate your needs.
Infrared heating is available in either electric, gas, or propane. Electric Infrared ranges from 2000 Watts to 6000 Watts in power, while gas ranges from 25k – 250k BTU’s. Both gas and electric are available with variable options when it comes to controlling temperature variance. Infrared Heating differs from regular radiant heat, due to the fact that the clean wavelength of light is absorbed by solid objects, transferring heat directly to a person or object rather than heating the air. For this reason, infrared heat can be distributed evenly, and will not simply blow away in windy or drafty conditions. Whether your patio is enclosed or not enclosed, JetStream has the experience to provide you with safe, reliable outdoor heat.
Electric Heat
Electric Infrared heating is a great way to heat your outdoor patio. Electric heaters can be flush mounted and integrated into the patio design to enhance your covered structure. These heaters range from 2000 to 6000 Watts to fit any space. Sizing is determined by ceiling height and square footage of coverage. Controls are available in many variations. They can even be controlled with your Home Management Controls such as Lutron and Crestron. They most economical control is the duplex switch option which will give you a Hi/Lo/Off capabilities. Gas Heaters
Gas heaters are always an option for all of your outdoor spaces. Sizes range from 25,000 to 250,000 BTU’s. We have options for many different manufacturers and models. With gas heaters, clearance to combustibles is a limiting factor in regards to design and layout. Gas heaters can not be flush mounted into ceiling due to clearance to combustibles. Ceiling height is a major factor in figuring which heater works best for the space. Most heaters are two stage, usually 100% and somewhere around 70% of the BTU rating and are controlled with a low voltage switch.
